Simply put, Kevin Shin has been a public servant his entire adult life.  For over 25 years, Kevin has worn the uniforms of those that sacrificed all to keep us safe and make this a better world. 

 

As a small business owner, Kevin has not only used his skills to serve delicious food, he has invested himself in our greater community by collaborating with organizations including Make-A-Wish, KOCT Public Television, The Nowell Family Foundation, North County LGBTQ Resource Center, and various art organizations.

With his time as a firefighter coming to a close, Kevin wants to focus on creating a better Carlsbad.  He is committed to ensuring his two daughters, and all of Carlsbad's families, can continue to celebrate our city as the best place to live, work, and play well into the future.
